My name is Ari. I am a student in Atlanta studying engineering and business. I am not exactly sure what I see myself doing in the future, but I believe making a life plan at this point would be unnecessarily limiting; ergo, I keep my options open and leave room for possibilities. In general however, I am interested in working for a couple years after I finish my bachelors and eventually pursuing dual MBA/JD graduate degrees.
I just moved to Atlanta, and I'm originally from south Florida. Going to school out of state is nothing new to me. I did 4th and 5th grade at a boarding school in Colorado and 8th and 9th grade at a military school in Pennsylvania. I just recently finished a two year early entrance to college program in west GA. I definitely enjoy life in the city, and I love Atlanta. As great as the party scene is though, my emphasis in on personal development namely through my school work and community engagement. I try to avoid all of the drama that accompanies any environment or scene as I see it as distraction from what is really important.
I look for meaning in whatever I do and try to learn from every experience. Every situation has its purpose in teaching us something, and if we are present enough to understand and apply that philosophy, life becomes much more rewarding. I love learning new things. If there is one lesson I have gained from my schooling so far, it is that everything is connected much more intimately then we can even begin to grasp. Learning is the act of taking the pieces of information we acquire and putting them together to create a better understanding of the world around us and, in turn, become better people from it.
I love wikipedia, and I'm still in the process of convincing it to marry me. We'll see where that goes :p
Other than that, I am a really friendly and outgoing guy. I like meeting new people. A lot of people message me on these sites, so I don't always get back to people as quickly as I'd like. Feel free to hit me up though.
